The e-Culture represents the electronic (internet) users community culture.
The e-Culture has 4 great principles:
-
The momentariness: the fact that the sending of a data crosses the network throughout quasi-immediately is a principle of the e-culture. The informations have to circulate very very quickly. The internet user has to got the news, his mails, his data immediatly.

-
The symmetry: the sender and the receiver of an information are on an equal situation, their roles can be easily reversed. There is no advantage for one, the symmetry can be also the phenomenon of equality.

-
The Asynchronization: when a publication of an information is put on the Web or by e-mail, somebody can consult it later, when he has the time to do it. We are not obliged to be at the same place, and at the same time, as a mmeting with somebody.

-
The ubiquity: the network extends practically over all the globe, thus the electronic presence is quasi-everywhere you want, everywhere you go...

The eCulture attitude is characterized by behavior based on the almost omnipresence of the tools of electronic communication in everyday life. The users are always connected. For instance, they prefer look the news on the web than buying the newspaper. But, they don't want to wait to know the news... they want to have all, free and quickly. This is what we can call "Information Society".
They are often on Google News, or on a RSS aggregator (like NetVibes).
They always have the cell phone near. They are nomad an this characteristic is not a problem thanks to the cell phone, but thanks to the notebooks and the wifi too.
