Since a few years, educational web sites such as those offering worksheets and interactive exercises for children have spread all over the net, allowing to get knowledges and skills over a wide range of subjects.
Some physical universities, as well as newer online-only colleges, have even begun to offer a select set of academic degree and certificate programs via the Internet at a wide range of levels and in a wide range of disciplines. While some programs require students to attend some campus classes or orientations, many are delivered completely online. In addition, several universities offer online student support services, such as online advising and registration, e-counselling, online textbook purchase, student governments and student newspapers.

For the future, i think we could try some very practical learnings thanks to a wabcam. For example, Pregnant women could learn breathing and useful things to know for the delivery. Or we could learn artistic things such as paintings, scultpturing, or even sportive things such as aerobic.
Thanks to video, internet could allow learning of almost everything. And no matters of the distance. The teacher could be in Europe, ant the students in the US.
Anybody could attend to the best worl teacher lessons thanks to that way on any subject. That sounds great, isn't it ?
It is true that the education system always interrogate itself about its organisation and its efficence and takes advantage of information technologies. How ? When ? What ? Where ? Who ? Easy ! Easy...Maybe the first question should be : why ? Maybe because new technologies involve technical aspect that imply more students. And because the creativity of students and of teachers can be put together to create contents which help both part to work well. So the techs pleased students because they are pursuing academic credit with more fun. Learning that way permits personal development and make learning stimulating.
And the famoust university and school invest this field. For example Berkeley , MIT , Epitech . They use IT to improve learning
